The Allhallows Yacht Club came into being in June 1964, when a group of 22 people met at Crayford Kent, to consider the possibility of forming a boating club at Allhallows on Sea. The Strood Rural Council as it was then offered a small area at the extremity of the Holiday Estate, which conveniently had a break in the Sea wall, which was no more than a reinforced grass bank at the time. Today we have a large boating compound protected by a perimeter infrared beam system, CCTV, an extensive clubhouse with full facilities including bar, kitchen and entertainment, two launching piers and a modern electronically equipped control tower.
